Nigeria

The government of Nigeria is comprised of a constitutional state that is held together with 36 individual states. There are over 500 different ethnic groups in Nigeria which leads a vastly diverse population. This is also a reason why they have so much violence in the country.

For example, today, there was a bomb blast at a bus stop that killed over 71 people. On march 13 a gun man on a motor cycle shot and killed over one hundred people for no real rhyme or reason.
On march 6th 4 gay men were beatin in public for being Gay. Then in January 24 another 17 people were shot and killed in their village.

Nigeria is constantly faced with violence, miry because they are culturally separated.

Hiding the poor with multi-million dollar stadiums

Most would think that if the biggest touring event in the world comes to your country you would be happy. It would bring massive amounts of business, it would jump start any economy... However this is not the case in Brazil.

In 2005 the GDP of Brazil  was a low five hundred billion dollars, in 2013 it is sitting right around two point 5 trillion dollars. Showig that the wold cup has be only helping the country on the finaccal frount.
Yet people have not been able to stop fighting over the matter. Even FIFA is fighting with the country of Brazil non stop over the delayed progress of the stadium.

It seams like the bottom line is that the people are poor and the country is poor and instead of spending this mass of capital on the people and bettering their lives. The Government is spending twenty six billion dollars alone on buildings.

However we could look at all of this as an investment to the country itself. With everybody traveling to Brazil all at once. It will give Brazil a chance to show off what they have and use this to make more money and possible turn the country around on an economic standpoint.

mexico and their drugs

Mexico has been a battlefield for the drug trade for years. The cartels have done anything in their power to getting their drugs into the United States. The Mexican government has blamed the United States government multiple times for their drug problems.  The Mexican government says that the reason the drug trade is so high, is because the market in in the United States. Most of the drugs going through mexico are finding themselves in the United States.  yet it seems kind of extremist that people are blaming the United States for Mexican problems. I mean it seems like more of a problem for the United States when the cartel leaders are coming to the United States.

How indians are killing one another

When I think about the nation of India, I do not think about domestic violence, mass bombing and violent take overs of religious temples. I think of a peaceful group that might have problems due to its size, but the idea of extremist violence seams to far fetched. However, according to Mr.Roskin and Google I am mistaken.

All of thees posts, weather from a news source or an online encyclopedia page, all speak of how rape and pure hated violence are on the incline. I found all of these just by googling violence in India, which makes you think about how much is not going on to be reported. India has a population of 1.237 billion people all trying to be a functioning democracy, which leads to problems.

When trying to make a government look like its working, it needs to look as if everybody is happy. So hiding violence would be one way to do that. meaning that it is very possible that there is far more happening in India that what we are able to read I the Western world.

The overly happy people of China and there incredibly low levels of oppression.

Google entered the Chinese market in 2005, under certain restriction. One of which wad that the Chinese government was allowed to censor the results that wold come up, and for a few years this was an okay system in the eyes of Goggle. Then in 2009 people in china started hacking Google servers to which Google's response was to bypass Google China and rout all searches through Google Hong Kong. This all do to over restricting search laws.

In 2010. Google stopped bypassing the Chinese version of Google and instead placed a link on the Google home page which would redirect you to Gooogle.hk. This was done so Google would be able to stay in the Chinese market.

Before Google china was developed, you could access Google from any Chinese computer. However approximately 90% of content was blocked by the Chinese government.

This just shows to what extent the government of china has been hiding from their people. This helps show what level of oppression still exists in parts of the world today.

I feel as if world war two was a good thing to happen the the Japanese government and people. If it were not for the ear, there would have never been sanctions placed on japan, making it so they would have never had the time or resources to invest into other markets. Japan now makes some of the best, most fuel efficient cars in the world. Part of this is because of world war two.

The allied powers took control of the Japanese government and made it s they could not invest in military spending anymore, giving the county a need for a new outlet. Just like the germans and Bavarian Motor works (BMW) Japan started invest in more fuel efficient means of travel.  Making it so while the United States was making nuclear bombs, Japan was making cars and technology that the rest of the world would soon need.

The only real problem with this is, the past generation has been so focused on wrong that they had forgotten to have children. Making it so the Japanese are losing their workforce and growing their numbers of retired persons.

Due to this lowering of workers in the market place. The japanese motor companies are showing lower and lower profits as well as a depreciation of the japanese yen. This working class problem is starting to help American companies like ford and GM. Possible undoing any good done by post war repercussions.

Chapter two "Brittan"

I find it interesting how the parliamentary system works in the UK. It is alike to the United States Presidential system where people can vote for the people that they like to represent them, but from their it seems as if the parliament takes 100% control from there.  Once the parliamentarians are chosen they have control to vote for the rest of the heads of state (or the other ministries and Prime minister). This system seems better to me because it is giving a more time efficient use of power to the house of parliament. Without have to hold a public poll on every topic that comes up, people are less informed ( which is an unfortunate byproduct of this ) however more is able to be accomplished in a shorter period of time with a lower budget.

The house of parliament than posts any news on what is happening at http://www.parliament.uk. This allows the general public be aware of what is happening in their government, without the government having to advertise their every movement.
